Abraham Becker

Abraham Becker has been playing electric bass for 21 years, double bass for 20 years and has over 10 years of university music teaching experience. He graduated in music from the Alabama School of Fine Arts in 1996 and from Indiana University with a BM in music composition in 2000. From 2002 to 2013 he taught applied music lessons at UAB as an adjunct instructor. Abraham arranges, composes, and performs regularly with Blue Galaxy String Project, Bonus Round, and Watters/Felts Project around the southeast. He has performed with Eric Essix, Downright, The Montgomery Symphony, Taylor Hicks, and Robert Moore to name a few. Abraham Becker is a versatile and in-demand performer and instructor specializing in the various styles of American popular song.
